Whether it is a blog, a flat lay or a live video, remember to keep it real!

Social media is a platform for individuals and businesses to express themselves and their purpose to a large platform of people. Content is created and posted taking on many forms including images, videos and text to portray or express something of value to somebody else. It plays a very important role in the user experience for the consumers of that platform and for that reason a reminder needs to be addressed about the importance of keeping your content fun and authentic to stick out from the masses.
Social media accounts are flooded with businesses all promoting the same marketing material with the same strategy to boost their visibility. If you want to connect with your consumers on a deeper level and communicate with your audience to build relationships, start with looking at your online content and the way you portray yourself or your brand online.
ENSURE YOUR ONLINE PRESENCE IS FUN!
ENSURE YOUR ONLINE PRESENCE IS RELATABLE!
STOP BEING PROFESSIONAL!!
It is damaging your opportunity to connect with your audience and make yourself or your brand a relatable and entertaining social account. One that people want to follow for online entertainment and not only for the original purpose of the account. You must aim to be more than just another business/personal account but to be the account that is essential for the consumer experience. An example of this is a humorous conversation that took place on Twitter between the company Sainsburys, a large supermarket chain in the UK and a customer. The exchange of creative puns between the two generated a viral interaction, which allowed the brand to be perceived as more personal generating customer value.

If you are currently creating content, however find yourself struggling to resonate with your audience. Try something new and engage with your customers online, create a conversation, build relationships.

This is so good, thank you for the laugh. I personally love when brands are less professional and more personal. A great method to create engagement just like to example you have shown.
